Hi
I need some information or advise. Is it possible to make an asynchronous connection via the network without using Dialout\EZ? When I try to use emulators telnet I receive the messages timeout expired . If I make the telnet in the router I have the message "Line protocol on Interface Async1 changed state to up and some seconds after " Connection timed out; remote host not responding "appears.
I use a router 2600 with a wic-2am which I wish to communicate with Windows.
Thanks.

If you just do a regular telnet to the tty line of one of your modems, are you able to manually dial out w/out any problems?
telnet x.x.x.x 200x
atdt xxxxx
If you can do this then its probably a problem with the telnet program you are using.
You can run the following on the 2600.
debug modem
debug ip tcp trans
If the program you are using has a log window that info could be helpful too.

Can you post your configuration. I didn't see what I was expecting to see.

Serge,
Thanks for the info. I was mis-understanding the dialup connection. This is actually a dialup PPP connection.
From the new log it looks like the connection was successful is that correct? Are you able to pass traffic and every thing even though you get those errors? IF yes then I think its just a cosmetic error.
