My Thunderbird home email account works fine until I enable Cisco Anyconnect.  However, my work email account works fine with or without VPN.  Same with my wireless Canon printer as well.

ASA is the VPN head end that I mentioned in my initial reply. You as an end user cannot see or modify its configuration.

You need to contact your company's IT department to request resolution.

This almost always has to do with the policy that has been configured by the administrator of the VPN head end. Typically there may be content filtering of tunnel configuration settings that prevent access to non-corporate email or local network devices.

I think the issue is with domain
can I see the config of ASA and email domain ?
