Hi All,
Does somebody know if it's possible to upgrade a L-ASA-SSL-10 to a L-ASA-SSL-50?
Or is the only possible way to upgrade to 50 users with the upgrade licenses?
L-ASA-SSL-10-25 and then L-ASA-SSL-25-50 ?
Thanks in advance,
Kind Regards,
Lemar Biekman

I'm pretty sure a colleague of mine did it some time ago. If I remember right he wrote to licensing@cisco.com and requested a new activation-key without the unwanted feature. After applying that key the new license could be applied.

On the ordering tool, there is no upgrade from 10 to 50 concurent users. Only as you mention from 10 to 25 and from 25 to 50. And the list-price for the two upgrades in only $100 less then a 50-user license (L-ASA-SSL-50=). So perhaps it's worth to go directly to that license. And remember that in FO (8.3+), you only need one unit with the full 50 user license, or on both units only 25 user each.

Dear Karsten,
Thanks for your reply!
In answer to your reply, the problem is that it isn't possible to upgrade the L-ASA-SSL-10 to L-ASA-SSL-50 but i want to know if it's possible to delete the L-ASA-SSL-10 license and then configure the L-ASA-SSL-50 as a new license?
Thanks in advance,

yes, that's what I ment with "go directly for the 50 user license".

Karsten,
So it's possible to delete The existing license en configure the new license.
Our customer created a TAC case and Cisco told our Customer that the right procedure is to upgrade the license with The upgrade licenses that's the reason why i post this message.
Do You know how You must delete the existing license?
Thank You!
