VPN and ACS server

Hello,

I have a ACS server and if I VPN in to the network I ping the ACS server .But I am not able to see the ACS server through network neighborhood .Also I am not able to see any of the shared resoucers

If I RAS in to the network I am able to see the server.

Can any one please advice.

You need to make sure you're passing down the internal WINS server information via the VPN. Browsing machines via Network Neighborhood requires WINS, so if the PC you're VPN'ing from doesn't know that info you won't see anything.

You don't mention what device you're VPN'ing into, but if it's a VPN3000 then you add the WINS server IP addresses into the group. If you're using a PIX/router, then you configure it under the vpngroup command for PIX (see http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/iaabu/pix/pix_61/cmd_ref/tz.htm#52490) or under the "crypto isakmp client" section for the router (see http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/471/ios-unity.html).
