VPN and Qos on same router

Hi,

I am looking to put together a VPN solution running over frame-relay utilising Qos with the routers being the IPSEC end points. My concern is that the Qos implementation managed by the routers (1751’s) won’t be an adequate solution in comparison to a dedicated box such as a Peribit which can manage the duties of both compression and prioritization. Does anybody have any experience/views on a rollout of this kind?

Configuring QoS on cisco router is perfectly capable of handling this kind of setup, but depending upon your traffic levels you can go for a bigger router.
