Need advice how to configure VPN cleint setup

right now we are using the Topolgy is like as below mentioned

Internel Server (ISA) NIC IP Address Internel: 10.10.10.30/24 Vlan 1
Internet Service (ISA) NIC IP Address Externel: 10.115.113.1/29 Vlan 30

ISP Connection is terminated on Layer 3 Switch (3750X) 202.2.156.187

ip route 10.115.113.0 255.255.255.248 202.2.156.187

Intervlan routing is performed on Layer3 switch, Users are reaching internet through proxy.
In this setup, I need to introduce VPN setup for client users, idea is to provide flateform for few users
to access Host on Vlan 1 via VPN client.

Need your advice what will be requirements and configuration to be performed on Layer 3 switch.
Remember we don't have ACS server right now. Can we do VPN setup in absence of ACS server.

Also advice Cisco VPN cleint is freeware or licensed

Hi Fahad,

Need your advice what will be requirements and configuration to be performed on Layer 3 switch.

In this case, VPN is not handled on your 3750X device, I did check the configuration and did not find it.

Catalyst 3750-X and 3560-X Software Configuration Guide, Release 15.0(1)SE

A Cisco Router or an ASA must be considered.

Depending on which unit and model you decide to deploy, the licensing information may vary.

3750x L3 behaves as router, we can run all config here usually required for VPN. Please recheck and do tell me if we can do some thing.

Model doesn't matter, I need only one user which will required to access internel network (One PC) via internet cloud this should be done via VPN.

3750x version is 12.2(58) SE2

Dear Fahad,

I did check the IOS software and could not find any VPN feature, however here is a good link:

Will this setup work, I v used Microsoft VPN separately, where internet connection directly terminate on server.

Or if any one has idea or experience to work Microsoft VPN by involving l3 switch.
