I have a VPN Client 3002 at a remote office that keeps disconncecting every so often. Here is what I see in the log on our Concentrator:

-----------------------------------------------------

29963 01/04/2005 11:37:30.390 SEV=5 IKE/50 RPT=227 64.179.xx.xx

Group [vestacare] User [cyp]

Connection terminated for peer cyp (Peer Terminate)

Remote Proxy 10.6.xx.0, Local Proxy 0.0.0.0

29966 01/04/2005 11:37:30.390 SEV=5 IKE/50 RPT=228 64.179.xx.xx

Group [vestacare] User [cyp]

Connection terminated for peer cyp (Peer Terminate)

Remote Proxy 64.179.xx.xx, Local Proxy 206.251.xx.xx

29969 01/04/2005 11:37:30.390 SEV=4 AUTH/28 RPT=214 64.179.xx.xx

User [cyp] disconnected:

Duration: 6d 2:10:50

Bytes xmt: 199864

Bytes rcv: 707768

Reason: User Requested

-----------------------------------------------------

No one on their end did anything to it and we certainly didn't either. Is there possibly something mis-configured in the client that is causing a time-out of some sort?

Ok, the admin at the remote site had to login to the client and manually reconncect the tunnel using the "Connect Now" option. When I logged in I got the following from its event log:

-----------------------------------------------------

1 01/05/2005 11:20:25.140 SEV=1 EVENT/37 RPT=1

Reset Reason : 3 (Hardware-Reset)

2 01/05/2005 11:20:24.860 SEV=4 CONFIG/15 RPT=1

READ header End not found.
