Hello,
i have installed the cisco vpn client 4.0.1 on a windows xp machine. There was no problem with the installation, but it is not possible to establish a vpn connection to our vpn concentrator. We use a vpn concetrator 3030. THe client tres to find the concentrator but nothing happens. Does anybody know about this problem? With Windows 2000 there are no problems. Is there any bug fix in another version?!
Thanks a lot for every help.
Bye,
Christian

i have deployed about 300 copies of v.4.0.1, mostly xp and no problems. since the os is different, maybe the configuration is slightly different, the image is different or network services are different. just a guess. who sets up the ws's? might want to get with them... dave

I have found XP to be a little different than 2000. Make sure all Microsoft IPSEC is turned off and Disable Internet Connection sharing (ICS). Good luck

ICS stuff works using 4.0.3c. one of my sites got it working yesterday.
you must disable the MS IPSEC servcies under control pannel/admin tools.
