I have tried both versions VPN client on an XP workstation, and have imported the CA's root certificate and the client's identify certificate (in that order). Both certificates show up under the Certificates tab and viewing them does not indicate I may have misconfigured anything. However, when I modify a connection entry to change from pre-shared key to using the CA, I always get
Warning 204: The certificate "" associated with this Connection Entry could not be found. Please select a different certificate or click Cancel.
In addition, under Authentication, when I change from Group Authentication to Certificate Authentication my Name selection box does not show anything.
Can someone please point me in the right direction? My CA is Windows 2000 server. Thanks.
