VPN Client and SP2

I know this isn't a Microsoft forum, but I am really stuck on this one.

A customer of mine is using Cisco VPN client 5000 version 5.2.3. He has recently installed XP SP2, and can no longer dial his VPN. I have searched the Internet high and low, and have found many fixes for various other versions of the client, but I cannot find anything for 5.2.3. I would like to avoid uninstalling XP SP2. But anyone could get back to me with a prompt reply I would more than appreciate it!

Sorry, just to add, the XP SP2 was included on the XP CD, and is not possible to uninstall anyway. Also, The VPN Concentrator 5000 and Client 5000 products are end of life, and are no longer supported.

Any suggestions are more than welcome!
