issue is certainly not due to versions. Vpn Client is supported on Suse Linux after 9.1

Try deleting your install folder and recompiling. Better still, look around for a whole tar ball. I run a FC3-XP/SP2 dual boot and used the instruction set here: http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/vpn/client/4_6/uglinsol/vcugls2.htm.
Make sure you have stopped the VPN service before/u> you do your install, if you alaready have one (http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/vpn/client/4_6/uglinsol/vcugls2.htm#wp1001263) and either way, enable your VPN service by typing "/etc/rc.d/init.d/vpnclient_init start".
I am no Linux expert but it works - hey, I am writing this message, arnt I? :)
Josef.
PS - rate if it helps...

Hi, I've deleted all files and try to install again.All ok but I still have the same problem switching on the service, the same error shown and when I try to do this...
vpnclient connect sample->
Running on: Linux 2.6.8-24.5-default #1 Wed Nov 17 11:10:06 UTC 2004 i686
Config file directory: /etc/opt/cisco-vpnclient
Could not attach to driver. Is kernel module loaded?
The application was unable to communicate with the VPN sub-system.
What can I do?
Is there another program console or gtk based to connect to the vpn?
Thk..best redgards
