Hi.. We've been testing 4.0 client with a 3060 from a variety of clients, xp and w2k. Today we tested our first w2k 03 machine and it failed. After the install was complete we tried to establish a VPN session. We got an error that the "VSDATANT.SYS will cause Windows to become unstable. Windows has prevented these drivers from loading." There is further reference to zone alarm's web site for updated drivers which I could not get. I could not establish a VPN session. Is there a newer VPN client that will work with Win 2003?

We had the same issue testing Win2K3 server. I actually downloaded and installed ZoneAlarm Pro, rebooted (it hung my server), booted into safe mode, uninstalled ZoneAlarm and it left the updated the vsdatant.sys file and the VPN worked correctly. I'm hoping that Cisco will release an updated 4.0x client that addresses the issue.

Hi. Thanks for the feedback. I tried to replace the zonealarm files manually and did manage to make the errors stop but could never establish a VPN tunnel. I gave up for now. I put a call in to TAC. They responded saying I should communicate my need for w2k03 vpn client to my account team, which I've done. Hopefully something will come along soon.
