Hello,
Im trying to install the Cisco VPN Client software on my XP Pro machine. The software will not install - it say XP's Internet Connection Sharing must be uninstalled first. I have looked and can not find how to do this. I cant even find where it is enabled.
Can someone help?
Thank you.
Mike

Internet connection sharing is enabled on your interface.
Rt Click Network Places> goto properties
Rt Click your lan interface> goto properties
on one of the tabs is ics, just uncheck it.

I tried this and my VPN Client Still refuses to install on Windows XP.
Any other advice?
Any idea if the WINDOWS XP VPN CLIENT will connect to CISCO?

Try unchecking the "Protect My Computer" option in the Built in XP Firewall. This has worked for us - it seems to be tied into ICS. I think you can turn it off once installed.
