I have a PC with VPN client connecting to a VPN 3005. The VPN client is behind a PIX 501, so we are using TCP for IPSEC. The client keeps timing out after a few minutes of being connected. I connect, start a ping session, then after a bit it times out and eventually the VPN client kicks me off. This does not happen when the VPN client is not behind a PIX firewall.
Any suggestions???
Thanks,

I built exactly the same configuration (for our internal testing, different problems though) . I don`t see any frequent disconnection problem as your experience. It is disconnected from the VPN3005 after 30 minutes of idle time. But this is an expected behavior, since the default idle time is 30 minutes.
You may check your VPN3005`s idle time configuration, as far as I know this is the only setting related to client`s disconnection.
BTW, the VPN3005 is using v3.6.1 , the client is on Win98 with VPN v3.6.1(Rel)

In my situation I am running 3.5 on the concentrator [due to get upgraded this weekend], 3.6.1 Client and Windows XP Pro...
