VPN Connection between Cisco ASA and a NetScreen 5200

To all

I have a Cisco ASA and have a client that has a NetScreen 5200 and we are seeing issues on the ASA that show the error below

%ASA-4-402119: IPSEC: Received an ESP packet (SPI= 0x0C970ED6, sequence number= 0x5B7B) from (Remote End) to (Local End) that failed anti-replay checking.

We have removed the repaly command form the ASA and wew are still having the issue.

The other issue we see when this happens is that we see Fin,Ack sent from both the Rmote End to the Local End as well as from the Local End to the Remote End but it seems that they never arrive either way and then both hosts are sending RST, ACK.

I am at a point now where I have no idea where to go with this and would love to know if others have experinced this type of issue.

David,

I've not seen the FIN, ACK isue but have seen the first one. In my case, following the recommendations in Step #3 of  this Juniper KB article fixed us up. (You should have a look at #1 and #2 first.)

Hope this helps.
