VPN cuts off reason 412

I have no trouble making connections using VPN Client 4.6 and 4.8 with an 1812 router. But the connection cuts off regularly (can be after couple of minutes or after couple of ours) with Reason 412. I can find no specific timeouts on the client or the server.

I have already set the peer respons time to 180

I have to correct/precise my issue: If there is no traffic, the connection shuts down after 49.25 minutes. How can I change this?

There is a timeout value tat you can set to address this. By default it is 60 minutes (which looks like the high-water mark you are hitting).
