VPN, how to start ?

I'm a total newbie when it comes to cisco routers, I've installed a cisco 836. Adsl with fixed IP.

Now I would like to add VPN, for this I have an 1712 I can use.

I searched Cisco for example config but couldn't find one.

Can anybody give me some general idea on how to start.

In easy vpn on the 836 I can assign the 1712 as vpn concentrator ?

You can search in these two places :

www.cisco.com/techsupport-------> select Technology Support, Select Security and VPN and search

Also, www.cisco.com/univercd--------> Select appropriately from the drop down menu under Security.
