VPN tunnel between the PIXS and logging on to domain

Hello,

I have a VPN tunnel between two PIX boxs .The PIX boxs are 506 and 501.I can ping the all the machines across the tunnel by ip address as well as by name.But the machines are not able to log on to the domain .The domain controllers are on one side of the the tunnel.

Can you any one advice what can be the problem.

1 Did all the PCs belong to the same NT domain ?

If not, please join the domain first before you can login to it.

2 Make sure both PIX inside interface do not apply any access-lists blocking some traffic there. Outside interface access-list will not be a matter.

3 If the WINS working fine and all the PCs are in the same domain, you still can not login to the domain. you might need a sniffer trace to find out what is the problem there.

All the PCS are in the domain.

And there is not access-list blocking the traffic.

Try if hardcode lmhost file works. It is likely a wins issue.
