VPN Tunnel, Dialer Interface, 1841, ASA

We have Cisco 1841 peered with a Cisco ASA 5520 for a VPN tunnel. The 1841 is acting as the PPOE client and the DSL router is in bridge mode. We have an issue with the crypto map not staying applied to the dialer interface after the router is power cycled. The startup config shows the crypto map applied. Has anybody ever seen this issue before and the workaround?

RUNNING THIS IOS:

Cisco IOS Software, 1841 Software (C1841-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4(25), R

ELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)

This is a known bug in 12.4(25):

CSCsz41177 Crypto map missing from the interface upon reload

It is fixed in 12.4(25a).

The workaround is to manually apply the crypto map to the interface after reload :)
