VPN using Cisco DSL router and Checkpoint

can this be done. We do not have access to the Cisco but are looking to put a VPN device behind the router to create a site-to-site VPN to our Checkpoint VPN.

There is no reason why you can’t accomplish this as long as Checkpoint is using open standard IPsec. You might want to check with them to see what VPN box’s are compatible with their VPN solution. Is there any reason why you don’t just terminate it on the Cisco Cable Modem? I know most have IOS upgrades available with the IPSEC feature set.
