VRRP on VPN 3005

Hi all.

I need to know how exactly work VRRP on cisco vpn concentrator.

On group shared address i need to put PRIVATE and PUBLIC ip address of master concentrator? In this scenario i need only 2 ip (master and backup), or i need 3 ip (master, backup, vip)?

If i shutdown master, backup appliance take over and let me connect with master ip?

My configuration:

MASTER

priv: 10.x.x.1

pub: 12.12.12.1

shared priv: 10.x.x.1

shared pub: 12.12.12.1

BACKUP

priv: 10.x.x.2

pub: 12.12.12.2

shared priv: 10.x.x.1

shared pub: 12.12.12.1

is this correct or not? If not why?

VRRP is configured on the public and private interfaces in this configuration. VRRP applies only to configurations where two or more VPN Concentrators operate in parallel. Refer URL http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/471/vrrp.html#topic1
