Hello,
My client has a Cisco ASA 5505...it works well with Windows 7 using the Cisco VPN client. However, we are in the process of migrating from Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro...and the 5505 is not compatible. I've found work arounds, which applied only works if certain other Windows components/services are not installed. I'd rather not go that route and prefer something that is either native to Windows 10 Pro VPN, or having a Cisco VPN client.
The question posed is...will the following appliances work with Windows 10 Pro?
With FirePower
5516-x
5525-x
5545-x
5555-x
Please advise.
Thank you,
Irwin

All the current AnyConnect (4.x) licensing packages are sold in Tiers.
25 user license is the entry level tier. You can get it for 1, 3 or 5 year license term.
Plus license type also includes a perpetual license option (costs is a bit more than 5 year term).
Apex license type does not include perpetual term option.
The main difference in functionality is that Apex can do clientless SSL VPN and posture assessment.
As far as rate sheet, Cisco does not publish publicly their price list. Your reseller can quote you a license with term etc that's appropriate for your requirements.

All those appliances are going to work perfectly fine with Windows 10, now the fact that you are using the Legacy Cisco VPN Client is going to be a problem since this on is not supported on W10 and also is already EOL & EOS. My recommendation when needing Remote access will be AnyConnect, just keep in mind this one is going to require licenses depending of the amount of client you need to have simultaneously connected.
Hope this info helps!!

Thank you JP.
The ASA 5505 will be replaced by one of the FirePower series listed earlier. As for AnyConnect licensing, we're looking to have at least 4 people on the road connecting. What's the best way of ordering the licenses? Is there a bundled or tier rate sheet?

Thank you Marvin,
I'll explore further into this and get a hold of a reseller.
