Web Based AnyConnect and Microsoft Update 2736233

When Microsoft Update 2736233 (Update Rollup for ActiveX Killbits for Windows 7) is applied our users cannot connect to Web-based AnyConnect VPN connections.  The ActiveX launcher fails.

We cannot get past this screen.  Installing from the link brings us back to this page.  Retry does not help.

Currently, our best resolution is to uninstall Update 2736233.

This is a known issue documented on the following link:

Quoting from the above document:

Generally it is a good idea to stick with the same version that you are running so if you are current running:
     Anyconnect 2.5.xxxx upgrade to 2.5.6005 or later
     Anyconnect 3.0.xxxx upgrade to 3.0.10055 or later
     Alternatively you could upgrade to the latest 3.1 version.
     For CSD upgrade to Cisco Secure Desktop 3.6.6020 or later.
