WEBVPN command not recognised

Hi all,

We've got an ISR 4431 that we're trying to install Anyconnect onto and one of the commands in the guide is

webvpn gateway SSLVPN_GATEWAY

But it shows that this is an unrecognised command ?

I've done a bit of googling and some people say it's down to old IOS verison (which ours is 15.5 as far as i know) and some say it's down to NOT having the licence installed. The problem is that we've left it that late to configure this that the support with Cisco has ran out so before i go renewing it then can anyone clarify which of these two will resolve this issue or is the webvpn command not on the ISR either way and if so then what command do i use ?

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks

FYI we have the security k9 licence installed but shows as evaluation right to use and inactive ? There's no SSLVPN licence that i can see though

Hi,

SSLVPN never used to be supported on ISR4Ks, this may have changed since on newer firmware though. To configure SSLVPN on CSR1000v the syntax is now "crypto ssl ....." perhaps try and see if those commands are valid (I don't have a 4K to confirm).

Hey there,

The ISR4K is not support webvpn but it supports SSL VPN

Good documentation how to make it work is here https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/ios-ssl-vpn/220267-configure-anyconnect-ssl-vpn-for-isr4k-w.html?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwxY-3BhAuEiwAu7Y6s1XNKLysHZ-ucfOf9J6W7gxumYycX6TCiGyKlaZqgROlH-9dWsVgNBoCYwoQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

my is ISR4k:
cisco ISR4451-X/K9 (OVLD-2RU)
Cisco IOS XE Software, Version 17.09.04a
Cisco IOS Software [Cupertino], ISR Software (X86_64_LINUX_IOSD-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 17.9.4a, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3)

Configured for production for one profile I couldn't do for multiple profiles:

Regards, Max
