Hi Team,
we're migrating cisco WSA 690 hardware to virtual appliance everything went smooth. but we are having a query for touching the licenses : is there any effect to existing hardware appliance if we request request licenses for virtual appliances.
Hardware appliance is in production and virtual is in testing mode. is there any effect of production one.
or any best practices suggestion would be appariciated.

Hello @rameshkumarnakka
Hope you are doing well
we have 90 days "Evaluation Period" in WSA, you ca use that for the testing, while things were confirmed, you can move your license.
on the other hand, you can open a case with licensing team or contact your Account Manager and ask for 7~14 days temporary license (most probably it is doable, it depends on your previous requests for temp license)
I hope that would be a help.
