Increase WBRS Score on Site?

We have a client who we are developing a website for and we have sent them our staging URL for them to view the development progress and test things. They have the IronPort Website Reputation device enabled and our staging url is being blocked. They say it's getting a score less than -6.0. How can we increase the score of the site to get past the WBRS score? They're policy prohibits them to whitelist the website or provide any other information. Ideas?

Hi Robert,

I would recommend filing a support ticket with WSA support to have them evaluate the WBRS score of the URL in question. It has the possibility of improving or staying the same. If the ip address that your URL is hosted on is also hosting multiple websites and one of those URLs is malicous then chances are high that your URL will be flagged with a high negative score like - 6.0.

Hi,  I have this issue as well.  Cisco will not permit direct support for us, due to this device not being owned by us.  Nor do we have a support contract with Cisco as this is not our device that is providing a low score.  The customer claims that they do not know what the criteria is that would cause a low score.  Does anyone have any additional information on how to increase the WBRS score and to find out what the criteria would be for the score.  Is the criteria set by each of Cisco's customers or Cisco them selves?

Thanks
