Hi All,

Appreciate if anyone can shed light on for AD join issue on my S380.

my domain is svc.example.com,  but AD server is server1.usr.example.com, then got this error when join domain:

Warning: Entry 'svc.example.com' does not match the Active Directory Domain 'usr.example.com" returned by server 'server1.usr.example.com"
How can I get it work?

many thanks.

Open ADUC connected to the domain you want the WSA to join.

Your domain name should be displayed here:

AD.PNG

Enter the IPs or host names of your AD domain controllers and the domain name in the realm setup here.

Set the OU where you want the machine account to be added.

Click the join button.. the user name should be an account with access to add a machine to the OU you picked.  Use the bare user name, NOT  domain\username, not username@domain...

From what you posted, it appears that your domain name is usr.example.com.

is the server1.usr.example.com IP and  svc.example.com same IP ?

try server1.usr.example.com  - this is just to join AD to get retrieve the users.

Once it joined, you can test AD.
