Is this problem happening on a new install device, or has this device been updating before?
Can you try on the cli to run telnet, follow the promprt, and telnet to updates.ironport.com on port 80.
When selecting which interface, select the interface based on the routing you have configured.
Otherwise it will help to know what interfaces are configured, what is the routing look like, and you can also do packet capture on the GUI interface, to determine if the traffic for update is seen leaving the WSA, and if it is being responded to.
I hope this information helps you in troubleshooting further.

Hello edadios,
Thank you for your reply first.
This device has been updating before. I tried telneting updates.ironport.com on port 80 using management interface (the routing interface) and it was okay.
Sorry, but how can I do packet capture using GUI interface ?
p.s. meantime we have opened a support case with Ironport.

Hello Isaqellari,
To do packet capture on the GUI, go to the top right hand side, where it says 'Support and Help, and you will see a drop down, where the last option is to do 'packet capture'.
You should be in good hands with your support ticket now.

Hello,
Ok, thank you for your help.
It seems to be a problem from ironport update servers and the machine one time get the updates and another time it doesn't get.
