Solved: WSA Hard Drive Status

Hi

We have been having an issue with the S170, the hard drive indicator has been flash green/orange for over 24 hours. We assumed it was a raid rebuild, but not so sure now due to the time length.

Has anyone else had this issue ?

I have, though not on a WSA. I've had rebuilds fail when the drive had an intermittent problem.

Open a case and have TAC access the box from their side. They can see if the rebuild is still in process or has failed and dispatch a drive if needed.

Hello,

Green/Orange flashes would mean the hard drive is operating normally. You can monitor the RAID status from the CLI using the version command.
