Hi all
We have a unique situation, our customer would like to implement WSA S300v into AWS, however the region where this is going is very new and only has the latest instances I.E. C5 (not C4).
Can anyone think of a work around for this (even unsupported), I was thinking running it as VM within AWS... using possibly the VMDK or similar?
PLEASE help
Regards
Rob

I have not deployed looking at the document of AWS, I do not see a big difference C4 vs c5 - if this is working C4, I do not see any issue on C5?
is your concern about price or compatibility?

Thanks for the reply.
No, not the price unfortunately the C4 instance isn’t available in the region that they’re trying to deploy in.
We have copied the AMI to the region but get an error when loading it on a C5.

I may be wrong, if this is only related to computing it should work. can you shed light on what kind of errors?

I had the thought, but because the AMI is certified to only work on C4, it won’t load on C5.
