Changing PSTN Provider from local gateway to cloud

Currently our PSTN is through our CUBE with ATT. We are wanting to change to cloud PSTN. We were told some time ago that in order to do so we would have to re-build all of our sites and all of our call flows from scratch again. Is this the case?

Hi @sstevens91,

This is not the case now. You can change your connection type from Local Gateway to Cloud PSTN Provider and still maintain all your numbers in control hub. You change the connection type first and work with your service provider to port your numbers during same maintenance window.

You can simulate this migration by creating a test location with local gateway adding some telephone numbers, users/auto attendants and then migrate to Cloud Provider. Work with Cloud Provider to port these test numbers and make sure everything is working.
