Hello everyone,
Good day
I am looking to get Cisco Roomkit mini for my environment.
I have a small environment with couple of cisco Switches and I will be mostly doing calls outside my organization.
I have no call manager in my environment so I wanted to confirm what I need do get, licenses and stuff.
How many IPs I need.

The Room Kit Mini does have a usb connection that can make it be used like a webcam for another video conferencing software on a connected pc. But if you are looking to use it standalone, the simplest way is to get a Webex Subscription for your hosts and a registration license for the room kit mini and connect them all through the Webex Cloud.

Hi Matt
Thanks a lot for clearing it.
I am looking to explore all the options and would like to know about the SIP option specifically for my environment.

Do you have a Webex subscription? You can register the device with the Webex cloud for native call/meeting experience without a local Call Manager. Otherwise, the room kit mini I believe can work as a generic USB camera as well for use with other services (zoom, teams, etc). Finally, if you’re just looking to use it as a generic SIP device, you may be able to register it with a local router (CUBE) or other SIP infrastructure you may have. This option would require a public IP address/port to be configured.

I don't have Webex subscription right now. And in case of SIP I only have 9200 sw in my environment right now, so my question is that I will either have to buy a ISR router or Webex subscription right?
