Screenshots pasted into the desktop version do not appear in the mobile version, and instead have an error saying "You don't have permission to access this file." However, gifs from Giphy appear just fine.
From Control Hub, go to messaging and figure out if you have any restrictions regarding the "Block file preview and download on these clients types" OR "Block file upload on these client types"
