we have Webex Video Mesh deployed in enterprise with dual NIC in DMZ Model.

there is an update to the Webex Video Mesh ports coming on January 2022; new port range for Media Cloud Cascades, the rerference article link https://help.webex.com/en-US/article/ndd6sj9/Video-Mesh-port-updates-for-January-2022

the UDP 50,000–53,000 port range is a new range in the deployment and hasn't been used before as per the sheets.

the current port range opened for cascading is the following:

source:

Video Mesh external interface,

Source Ports (34000 to 34999), (35000 to 52499), (52500 to 62999) & (63000 to 65500).

Destination:

Webex cloud media services

Destination Port (5004)

is the new port range going to be added to 5004 ?

what are the source port going to be ?

You can check the port list here:  https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cloudCollaboration/wbxt/videomesh/cmgt_b_webex-video-mesh-deployment-guide/cmgt_b_hybrid-media-deployment-guide_chapter_010.html#reference_931D7E96CA43B51A44E9A01B14BEB0F4

only port 5004 be used.

Note:

Port 5004 is used for all cloud media and on-premises Webex Video Mesh nodes.

Webex App apps continue to connect to Webex Video Mesh nodes over shared ports 5004. These ports are also used by Webex App apps and endpoints for STUN tests to Webex Video Mesh nodes. Webex Video Mesh node to Webex Video Mesh node for cascades use a destination shared port of 5004.
