The new Reaction Emoji feature poses problems in classroom usage using recurring meetings. Are there plans to provide an option for hosts to disable this feature when the meeting is created?
At this point, our instructors have to manually disable the feature at the beginning of every class.
Assistance is appreciated.

I don't see it yet listed in the What's New web page, but I updated my iPad this morning to the 40.12.0 mobile (for iPad) client and under Meeting Privileges it has slider for Reactions which appears to enable/disable them. (This was tested in my personal room hosted via the AW cluster with our site currently on 40.12.4.) So hopefully, this makes it to the desktop clients in a 40.12.x update or at least 41.1.

You can submit this idea in the User Community Feedback, if it gets enough votes it can be evaluated by the development team and considered.
