Call Recording accouncements

Problem: Every time a call rolls over to a new hunt group, the customer again hears the "your call may be recorded" greeting. Example: Call comes in to HG 2003, rings 4 times, then rolls to HG 2002, rings 4 times, then rolls to HG 2004. Every time it hits the new HG, the customer again hears "your call may be recorded". Is there a way to set it so that the customer only hears "your call may be recorded" just once on the inbound call and no other times after that?

Are you using the "Forward after set number of rings" as shown (except with 4 rings)? Also, do you know which Webex Calling region the customer is in?

Hi Kctrey,

Thanks for your prompt response . Please find the answers below ;

  • Which PSTN option are you using? (LGW/Premise or Cloud PSTN)  -  Cloud PSTN
  • Is your compliance announcement set at the Org level or at the Location level?  - This customer has only one location and it is set on location level .

  • Are all of the Hunt Groups at the same Webex Location?  -- Yes.

I am trying to replicate this in my own sandbox and am unable to. I only hear the compliance announcement once. A few questions so I can make sure I am setting up the same configuration:

  • Which PSTN option are you using? (LGW/Premise or Cloud PSTN)
  • Is your complance announcement set at the Org level or at the Location level?
  • Are all of the Hunt Groups at the same Webex Location?
