Hi everyone, hoping someone can shed some light on the issue and if there is a way around it.
We've got 3 devices in an office, 2x Cisco 8851s (1 is a user and 1 is a workspace) and then we have an ATA192 setup with a cordless analogue base station with 3 cordless phones coming off of it. If you ring from external to the Cordless phone direct line, everything works, as soon as you answer a call on the ATA192 cordless device that was forwarded to that device e.g. it's part of a hunt group, the cordless device rings but there is no audio.
The way we need it configured is if you ring a number from external, it rings all of the above devices simultaneously and can be answered on any of the devices. If you ring out from any of the devices, the caller id that is displayed on the phone is the same number. We need to do all of that, due to the above issue with forwarded calls not working, to work without forwarding any calls to the Cordless phone.
I did try setting up a virtual line and connect it to the 2 a couple of 8851s as a secondary line to test but you ring the number and you just get that the number is unavailable.
Would greatly appreciate any help.
