Unable to assign a toll-free number to a virtual line

I have added the number but when I go to create a virtual line it does not show as one of the options. Is there a restriction on assigning toll-free numbers to virtual lines?

I have a mailbox with a local number, but I also need the toll-free number to go to the same mailbox.

Hello we just ran into this and that is not supported.

Also you should be able to get around this by assigning the 800 number to an AA and then just forward it to your voice Mail box

Thanks. I was able to "roll" it using a hunt group. I was hoping there was a better solution.
