I am losing the inbound caller id from our customers when we do a warm transfer but it will pass the caller id for a blind transfer; is it possible to pass the caller id during a warm transfer?

I ran a third test using the warm transfer and made sure I announced the caller when he answered the call; the caller id never updated to the outside calling party number. The call history and display only showed my extension I used to do the transfer.

I have opened a ticket with TAC and captured traces of both a warm transfer and a blind transfer; they are reviewing the traces now. It appears that system handles the warm transfer differently than the blind transfer. When I did the blind transfer, it shows as a call forward on the phone but looks like a direct call from the warm transfer process.

When a call is passed via a warm transfer, the calling party ID is shown to the receiving party. Once the call is fully transferred the caller ID should update and now show the original ID of the calling party

I am having the same issue. I have opened a tac case and I'm being told there is nothing within control hub or any thing Cisco can turn on with in the back end to fix this. Do you have any new information on your issue that could help others?

This is not the expected behavior, I would suggest contacting Cisco TAC to look at your ORG.
