Codec Plus Wired and Wi-Fi Simultaneously

Greetings.

We have a Room Kit Codec Plus. We want to use the wired Ethernet port to connect to a small POE switch for our Table Microphone Pros and use the Wi-Fi radio to connect the Codec Plus to our network. However, after we configure Wi-Fi and have it working, when we connect the switch to the Ethernet port it disables the Wi-Fi.

Can both not be used simultaneously somehow?

The Table Microphone Pro does not support the Room Kit Plus per the data sheet so this is a moot point. For the models that do, it must be connected to one of the link local ports, not the LAN port. External switches are supported but ensure they support multicast and provide an IGMP querier.

What is the use case for wanting both wired and wireless simultaneously?

Does the unit get an IP address if connected to wired network?
