Are the people in the room using laptops for Zoom/MSTeams leaving their microphones and speakers enabled, instead of relying on the audio from the EQ? That would cause some echo locally in the room. Alternately, it may be the far end that has insufficient echo cancellation and is sending back your audio from their end. Without knowing further details of your specific use case, it's hard to suggest where else to look.
