Hi
We've had a request from the business if its possible to turn off the sound effect when volume goes up or down via the touch 10 controller on Cisco codecs. I have tried turning off all the sound effect or key tone options within the settings, but the noise still happens.
Is this possible, will it ever be possible? I appreciate for most normal scenarios you want to hear the volume going up and down as its pressed, however in times when webinars or events are happening, it can be distracting to users if the room audio needs to be raised/lowered depending on what is happening.
Any info would be appreciated.
Many thanks

Hi Wayne,
Sorry for the late response. I was never actually able to get this fixed, we still have the problem of the volume sound effect when raising/lowering the volume. We have been through multiple editions of firmware since I posted this question. We are currently on January OS 11.24.1.8 b47804c63e8 and this is seen on Room Kits & Room Kit Plus's.
Not sure if anything has changed over the last year, but if you know of anything, please let me know.
Many thanks
Joe

The SoundEffects Mode setting should do what you are looking for.
If it's not working after changing that, can you provide more detail on which model device and OS version it's currently running? (I recall there being a problem in one of older firmware releases - but that was quite a while ago).
