We are thrilled to announce the availability of sample code on GitHub that will help you understand how to interact with the new Webex Contact Center APIs published on the Developer Portal @ developer.webex-cx.com

See: https://github.com/CiscoDevNet/webex-contact-center-api-samples

Most samples today are available in one variant (JS) for simplicity, more samples & variants will be published as and when new use cases are possible.

The samples will go over:

How to get started with the Webex Contact Center APIs.

Building your Postman collection and trying them out.

Understanding Webex OAuth2, Access Tokens, Refresh Tokens, Webhooks.

Building a Sample Application Integration, basic CRUD App, Recording downloader, Webhook receiver, etc

Running the samples locally in your test environment.

Understanding how to maintain persistent access with WebexCC using refresh tokens.

The samples have a few pre-requisites, including familiarity with APIs in general, REST, postman, basic javascript & nodeJS knowledge, basics of OAuth2, git & github.

Each of the samples contain a Readme and/or supporting video link that links to a Vidcast.

The Vidcasts are public links, so feel free to bookmark them for later review.

They also contain chapters so you can skip to a specific portion of the overview.

Please use the tag “Webex Contact Center APIs” with your questions on Developer Community while initiating discussions about Webex Contact Center APIs.

Happy exploring!
