Webex Calling API error

Question

While contacting the Call Controls API you receive the error: 

 

WxC License not assigned to Organization

What does this error exactly mean?

In addition to what Janos explained, I want to point out that the call control API is for Webex Calling only.

Webex Calling is the SIP-based PSTN calling solution, it is not the LOCUS-based 1:1 Calls on Webex

This error usually refers to a missing Webex Calling license in your organisation / for the user you are using. You should wither reach out to our Sales team or your Account Manager to help you get a license. For testing purposes only, you can also request an Admin Sandbox here https://developer.webex.com/docs/developer-sandbox-guide which will grant your demo org a Calling license.
