cannot automatically control audio volume when starting a meeting

I use AirPods whenever I use Webex for my meetings at work. No matter what setting I use (Webex, Windows 10) my volume setting reverts to MAX every time I start a new meeting. Sometimes I forget and when I connect my ear is blasted with max volume. Need a solution!!

What happens when using other audio applications with AirPods on your windows machine. What if you reduce the windows machine audio settings. Does that has any impact ?

No issues with any other app. Reducing the Windows settings has no impact.
