Cannot expand left pane and missing "Filter By" button in Webex Teams

I could not expand or contract the left-pane to my preferred size by dragging the border highlighted below in the red rectangle with my mouse. I just want to have the left-pane widened slightly more. I was able to do this before but unable to for the past few days but just ignored it. I have resorted to "Compact View" so that I can see the names of the spaces and contact on the list.

I also lost the "Filter By" button which is normally in the area below highlighted in the yellow rectangle.

All spaces / connections are blanked out in orange colour for privacy reasons.

That's definitely weird. I would try the following things:

1. Exit and restart the app / reboot computer
2. Reset the local database (Profile pic -> Help -> Health Checker -> Reset Database)
3. Uninstall and reinstall the application. Clear your Webex cache before re-installing. Download the latest version from https://www.webex.com/downloads.html

I only tried option [2] and that solved the issue.

Can't try option [3] as it is pre-installed by corporate administrators

Didn't try option [1]
