Hello Webex Community!
I have a user (user1) who is configured as a delegate of another user (user2). User1 wants to create a Webex meeting on-behalf of user2 and can do so without issue.
However user1 wants to be able to start the meeting if user2 is running late. User1 does not want to be invited to each meeting and therefore is not attendee of the meetings they are creating on-behalf of user2. Cisco documentation seems to indicate that user1 will need to be invited to the meeting and assigned the co-host role in order to start these meetings (they create on-behalf of user2).
Is it possible to have a delegate create a meeting on-behalf of there superior and start the Webex meeting without being invited to the meeting (and therefore provided the co-host role)? if so, how is this accomplished?
Thank you so much for any help.

@Sharpie, the delegate setting will only give the person listed as a delegate permissions to schedule meetings. The option you are looking for is part of the scheduling process and yes, they would have to be invited to the meeting if you want to specifically select one person to be a co-host. If you don't want to invite them, you would have to either select that the first person to join the meeting with a host account becomes the cohost/host or all attendees with a host account become cohosts. It's not possible at this time to select one person to always be a cohost for your meetings.
