Is is possible to enhance how one note links to paragraph are displayed?

Here's an example link:

If you use markdown formatting, you can pase URLs like [cute cat videos](https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=cute+cats )

Hi dtibbe, that's a valid workaround, although I wouldn't use it as the idea is to have a quick way to share info so that I dont have to edit nothing.

BTW, Ive tried your suggestion and looks like it doesnt work for one note links.... Please see image

If you do not have enabled markdown, you can also use the insert-link-wizard providing a link caption and url. Would basically result in the same.

Your example includes two links as URL, one for OneNote.pasx and the other one for Document/Notebooks... If you provide a valid single URL, it should work fine.

Hi thanks for replying and sorry for response delay.

I am not sure if we can say link is invalid. According to RFC 3986 colon ':' char are fine.

https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc3986

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2053132/is-a-colon-safe-for-friendly-url-use

Also, MS Teams handles it fine(see attached image)

In addition, I've tested nested markdown links there and works fine in webex. See below example:

[colon enabled link](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Welcome)

[colon enabled link](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:https://www.google.com)

But, specifically one note links seems to fails for some reason.

Is it possible to create a bug for the app?

Open a case with Webex support to have them create the defect if needed.
