is there a linux client app ?

I use a Ubuntu linux laptop so cannot use the Cisco Webex Meetings.

Looks like there is a windows and osx client app ... is there a linux app too ?

I got invited to a meeting today so could not attend due to no linux app.

Is there a web browser way to join a meeting ?   Please update your meeting invite to show web meeting link its not shown on my invite screens

Of course you can join with a Webbrowser (although some webex-features are not available on that platform).
(sorry, did not find the web-page explaining the system-requirements and limitations..)

In addition to that, the number of requests for a Linux-Version in the User Community Feedback-Forum

Do SMEs, feelancers, sole traders, individuals, have an account team?

It'd be easier to list conferencing platforms that don't have a Linux desktop client than those that so.  There are only one or two of you left (that don't).

Given that the majority (including you-know-who No. 1 and you-know-who No. 2) already have a Linux desktop client, the idea that Cisco's offering has to be kept well under wraps [for fear of giving ideas to the competition] is, an interesting proposition.

Cold war espionage apart, what a build-up!  Let's hope it lives up to it.

Dear webex-text-only-no-html,

Some stuff requires a formal agreement to be signed so that you do not take them to court if they do not deliver something, a so called safe harbour agreement. In software world things are dynamic and plans can be delayed, features can be changed, etc. I'm sure that when the team feels confident with the feature-set they might be open to a wider test, just like they did with the VDI client.

So I think we all know where Cisco stands on the call by the "tiny target-audience" over many, many years for a Linux Desktop Client.

I might be seen as premature to have declared this request as having been solved.

•   Cisco hasn't given a timeline for when the LDC will be made Generally Available
•   Cisco hasn't said what the capabilities of the LDC are over-and-above WebRTC that, by its own admission

Declaring early isn't cricket.
