Hello,
i just found this article https://help.webex.com/en-us/n5yzg8y/Webex-Add-Links-for-Meetings-or-Spaces-with-webexteams-Protocol
So, I created a link of a space as described (webexteams://im?space=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) and put it on a wiki page.
Then I tried to use this link with a test user and it did not worked.
If I click on the link, the Webex teams client opens, but the user doesn't join to space.
What I'm doing wrong?
Thanks

Have you tried using EURL bot added to the space? I have used it and it works great.
It allows limiting by internal to org, domain, external, require approval, etc

yes, I have tried the EURL bot.
The disadvantage is that the bot is a member of the team or space and thus has the right to read every message.

Hey @Wade H. ,
thank you for explaining.
too bad, I thought I could solve the problem I currently have.
I am looking for a way that people can directly join a room without being a member of the team.
Do you know a way to do this without having to use third party services?
Cheers

What we did is create a company-wide team, and added all users to the team. That way, spaces we create within that team are essentially "public" spaces that can be joined by anyone. When new staff joins, we add them to that team as part of the onboarding workflow.
Not the solution you're looking for, but the best workaround I know of.

The link will only work for people who have access to the space; they either need to be a member of the space, or a member of the team where the space resides. If they are an existing member of the space, clicking the link will directly open the space in the app. If they are not a direct member of the space, but the space belongs to a team that they are a member of, then clicking the link will give them the option to "join" the space.
As far as I know, there is no way to provide a link that will allow anyone to become a member of a space.
Hope that makes sense.
